The Emperor Standard is the professional working musician’s guitar. It has many features of the Emperor Elite guitar. It combines a great look and feel with a solid Rock & Roll tone. Built to meet the needs of the most discerning players at an affordable price.

The Emperor Elite features a Mahogany back and a solid American western maple carved top. The 5 ply binding greatly accentuates the quilted Veneer top. The deep high gloss Polyester finish is absolutely beautiful.

The neck is made of Mahogany and we chose to use a Rosewood fingerboard for great comfort and feel. The pearloid block inlays give the guitar a nice touch of class. We adorned the sides of the fingerboard with the simplicity of a classic single ply ivory binding. We chose the chrome Aslin Dane 15:1 gear ratio tuners.

The bridge is a long travel TOM type. The extra width allows for accurate intonation regardless of the string gauge you prefer.

For the pickups we chose to use our own Alnico-5 AD-58b in the bridge position and an Alnico-5 AD-58n in the neck position for that creamy vintage tone. These pickups sound great and have full and rich harmonic tone and are perfectly suited for this instrument. The controls consist of two 500K audio taper Volume potentiometers and two 500K Audio taper Tone potentiometers. The tone controls are wired with 0.047 capacitors for great Rock & Roll sound. A three-position toggle switch allows for easy pickup selection.
