The Aslin Dane “Jazz VC”  is well suited for all styles of music, Jazz, Rock, Blues, Country or anything else. Of course, you can play any musical genera on any guitar however this type of guitar is commonly seen in all.

For the neck we chose to use solid Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard for an overall warmer tone. The fingerboard has simple ¼” pearloid dot position markers.

The “Jazz” model, is a semi acoustic double cutaway. The construction incorporates a 4” wide solid mahogany center block also referred to as a center core. This center block allows for the complete stability of the guitar when very loud volumes are required to play in some clubs or venue. A completely hollow body would howl and feedback. Either sides of the solid center block are hollow and completely acoustic. The top sides and back are laminated woods. We chose Mahogany for the back and sides and American Flame Maple for the top material.

For the Pickups we chose the Alnico-5 AD 58-n Vintage Tone Humbuckers. In the neck position is the AD 58-n and the Alnico-5 AD 58-b in the bridge position. These pickups are extremely versatile and have a full and rich harmonic tone. They are a pickup well suited for all type of musical situation. perfectly suited for this guitar. The controls consist of two 24mm 500K audio taper Volume potentiometers and two 24mm 500K Audio taper Tone potentiometers. The tone controls are wired with 0.047 capacitors for a great warm tone. A three-position toggle switch located in the upper bout allows for easy pickup selection.

The Aslin Dane  Jazz -VC model  uses a fully adjustable roller bridge and our proprietary Aslin Dane Vibra~Coaster™ 4002 Vibrato System, arguably the best in its class.
